Cape Town Lately checks out the footage of world pop star Justin Bieber walking through Long Street on Monday night.
“Baby” and “What Do You Mean” singer Justin Bieber arrived in South Africa on Saturday as part of his worldwide tour Purpose.
After a performing in a cold and wet Johannesburg on Sunday evening, he’s arrived in Cape Town, where he will be performing at the city’s main stadium in Green Point on Wednesday.
Local Dane Pretorius caught Bieber on video in Long Street on Monday night:
Pretorius posted: “Just saw Justin Bieber in long street right now! He gave me a fist bump.So everyone came to rub my hand that he touched!”
Pretorius added: “People then started driving up and down to try and find him.”
The evidence does suggest it was the real Bieber.
There have been fake reports of Bieber walking around Sandton, Johannesburg after South Africans pranked locals by pretending to be the American celebrity. They hired body guards and groupies to pretend to be Bieber in an attempts to lure attention. The post went viral on Twitter following the shoot.
